Systems Engineer

This position works within the IT Operations team ensuring the resources and services being run within the Active Directory services are well maintained.
  
About you, you will possess:

• Working within the Active Directory database for maintenance, recovery and troubleshooting
• Multi-forest management within the Active Directory as well as dealing with one-way and two way trust relationships
• Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) infrastructure management
• Group Policy design, management and troubleshooting
• Active Directory replication topologies including Site and Site-Links
• DNS Server management including DNS zone migration, design, and configuration
• DHCP Server management and IP address management
• PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
• Proficiency in scripting PowerShell

With skills in:

• Analysing problems and resolve issues with both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions
• Creating and configuring Active Directory sites and site-links
• Creating and configuring DHCP Scopes, Options, and Registrations
• Configuring DNS Server settings
• Creating PowerShell Script
• Analysing existing services and planning for needed improvements
• Analysing existing performance trends and recommending adjustments / changes
• Analysing audit and security information
• Monitoring system reliability and availability
• Translate technical issues into understandable business language for end-users
• Develop and write technical documentation
