Solution Architect - Cloud and PreSales

The opportunity 
Empired's Platforms team are looking for a highly skilled, forward thinking, self starter with the confidence and abilities to service Empired’s growing client base. This position will be suited to a seasoned Architect, well versed in evolving our client technologies based on business requirements, future planning and emerging technologies. Working in conjunction with other like-minded Empired Architects, you won’t be afraid of rolling up your sleeves to design and implement successful technology projects to the gold standard that Empired is renowned for.
  
What would we like to see from you? 
 
Demonstrated experience: 

• Experienced in architecture and design (3+ years)
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated experience in gathering and analysing system requirements.
• Working with fellow architects, vendors and engineers to deliver complete end-to-end detailed technology designs and associated integrations that are fit for purpose and supportable
• Extensive technology skills across multiple Infrastructure disciplines, Data Centre, Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Enterprise Backups and Cloud capabilities including on-premise integration is desirable
• Willingness and technical aptitude implement the vision of the client
• Extensive knowledge of Azure is critical
• Extensive knowledge of AWS is highly desirable
