Join our Modern Work and Digital team in Wellington as our newest Senior Business Analyst!

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Business Analyst to join our team. You will provide strategic objective advice, and expertise while working with our teams to create value, maximise growth and improve the business performance of our clients. You will understand organisations to enhance their business through recommending better or more appropriate policies, processes, architectures, and technologies.

Along with participating in presales presentations and workshop facilitation, as an agile, Senior Business Analyst you will advise and provide guidance to clients on best practices from both Microsoft technologies and industry perspective.

Responsibilities
  • Participates in business strategy development, including environmental analysis, opportunity identification, value cases and business innovation portfolio development.
  • Ensure solutions development across the organisation are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits).
  • Work in partnership with the senior leaders enabling them to meet their business objectives, overcome problems and gain an understanding of high-level technical concepts.
  • Clearly articulate business needs, requirements, acceptance and change to ensure clarity for our clients.
  • Align with our enterprise clients in delivery and build exceptional and strong relationships.
  • Help shape and position work within a continuous service evolution / DevOps approach.
  • Work with our Modern Work and Digital team to drive focused growth and find opportunities within our projects.
Your Experience
  • Experience within an iterative / scrum-based delivery environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as the bridge between technical teams and our clients.
  • Extensive experience understanding both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Proven ability to contribute to client business cases.
  • Proven ability and developed methods of analysing needs, costs, and benefits.
  • Ability to work across all Intergen practices as appropriate.
  • Experience in Change Management and/or Solution Adoption.
  • Proven experience with large, complex solution deliveries.
  • Experience reviewing usage analytics and recommending user adoption strategies to grow consumption.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong familiarity and up-to-date understanding of Microsoft technologies.
