The Regional Sales Director position is a key strategic leadership role at Empired with accountability for meeting the demands of the market they operate in through to building an excellent sales team, which holds a reputation for delivering over achievement on Empired’s regional revenue and profit targets.
You will be a valued member of the Leadership Group (BLG) at the forefront of delivering on Empired’s strategic business direction.
The role helps Empired deliver to and focus on the areas that matter most to ensure key clients and the region grow year on year.
Success in this role looks like:
• Deep connection with clients, influencers and partners to support the achievement of Empired Groups Regional Sales targets.
• Exceed Empired Groups Effective Revenue targets YOY.
• Land multi-year life cycle contracts as the priority driving a significant change in the annuity mix YOY.
• Grow Net New Strategic Accounts and grow current strategic accounts.
• Work with the local BLG to achieve utilisation and client satisfaction targets.
• Ensure the individual sellers are supporting the business in the process of profitable delivery excellence through the thinking forward framework.
• Build a high performing sales team, which follow Empired opportunity, Account and Pipeline process.
• Work with the business to bid for, win and deliver across the Empired Solution Set.
• Drive the execution of thinking forward through interactions where possible.
Certifications/Accreditations/Framework experience (preferred):
• Familiarity with the Target Account Selling and/or Challenger Selling model would be an advantage.
• Broad range of Microsoft Technologies
You’ll make an impact through:
• Interacting and Presenting – Building positive relationships, within and outside the organisation, to drive business performance by communicating, networking, and influencing effectively.
• Actively facilitate and lead your sales team’s deep connection with Microsoft’s SSP, ATS, TSP and Account Manger roles account by account.
• Maintain a high level of positive contact with Empired key partners – Microsoft, Epi, Nintex To-Increase, HP, NetApp, Huawei and CE.
• Ongoing and dynamic series of job-embedded interactions between the sales manager and his or her direct reports, designed to diagnose and correct or reinforce behaviours, specific to that individual.
• Identify small and concrete development goals after each coaching session and follow up on these.
• Maintain industry knowledge (market trends, technology developments, partners, competitors) through personal activities, training courses and briefings.
• Builds a positive culture and unites staff around a common objective and purpose. Can be counted on to exceed goals successfully. Consistently performs at a high level and is bottom-line oriented. Steadfastly pushes self and others to achieve and maximize results.
The career experiences we recruit for:
• 10+ years of sales experience, may possess relevant tertiary qualifications
• Proven Sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills
• Expert produce and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
• Strategic management, leadership, mentoring, business, account and reporting capabilities
• Analytical interpretation and advanced problem-solving abilities.
