Manager - Sales Enablement


Join us as our Manager of Sales Enablement in Wellington, as we embark on an exciting growth phase

The Role
As the Manager, Sales Enablement you will lead the Bid Management and Sales Administration teams across Australia and New Zealand for Intergen and Empired. You will provide leadership to all members of the team, overseeing the success of their responsibilities and providing advice and direction.  The Sales Enablement Function owns the tools, process and creation of all strategic bid and provides all sales administration, reporting and governance. The role will require some level of hands-on involvement in tasks.

Have you got?
  • 10+ years’ experience and deep expertise in Bid Management and Sales Administration
  • proven experience leading a team
  • experience in working with all levels of the business, from Sellers to Architects to Executive to drive quality outcomes
  • an understanding of managing commercial success of a business unit
The Role
As the Manager of Sales Enablement you are part of the Empired Group’s Business Leadership Group. You will be responsible for the daily running of the Business Unit, will oversee all staff, activities and the commercial success of the unit.

Your key focus will be to:
  • Ensure that all strategic bids resourced and delivered to a high quality
  • The tools, process and workflows for bids are mature and evolving
  • That all Board, Management and Sales reports are delivered in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Commission payments are calculated and paid according to payment schedules
  • Analysis and trend identification over Sales Data occurs and is ongoing
  • Build the overall Business Unit Strategy and vision
  • Forge strong bonds with other practices across the wider group
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the Business Unit ensuring excellence in areas such as resource management, utilisation, budgeting, forecasting and process improvement
  • Coach, mentor and grow the team ensuring high levels of engagement and retention
  • Help drive and be a champion of our collaborative and inclusive culture

  • Well-rounded experience in Sales Enablement functions
  • Experience in staff and working in a consulting environment
  • Facilitation and liaison skills
  • Experience working with complex client requirements in a fast moving environment
  • Confidence working directly with internal stakeholders, clients and partners. Displaying an aptitude for gaining a thorough understanding of their vision will be a huge strength
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present and point of view to a variety of audiences
